They call me Dakota. Or Kota. Or Kota-Pie. My mum even says I’m her soul mate.

I’ve been around for a bit now, the old legs don’t work like the used to, but I still love to scare my mum and run down the hallway like I’m 1, not 11.

My mum saved me from a cage when I was 9 months old, I met my older human brother and was instantly obsessed. I was just as obsessed with my little human brother as well (it helped they used to feed me food all the time when mum wasn’t looking).

People get nervous around me when they first see me because apparently Rottweilers can be scary? I don’t know why – I just want to be besties with everyone!

These days I do a lot of sleeping, mostly on the couch, laying on my back, legs in the air, snoring – mum says I’m a real fancy lady.
