Pet Adoption.
RSPCA Launceston Adoption Centre
Tasmania

By choosing to adopt from the RSPCA, not only are you giving a new home to an animal in need, but your support will help the RSPCA assist many more animals.

The Adoptapet website lets you view the many wonderful pets waiting for adoption at RSPCA locations across Australia. All animals have been health and behaviour assessed by the RSPCA and are ready for their new homes. Dogs and cats are also desexed, microchipped and vaccinated to help give them the best possible fresh start.

Before you begin your search, consider your needs and the needs of your future pet. How much time can you spend on training and exercise? How much space do you have for them? How much you can afford to pay for food, toys, training and possible vet bills?

If you find a pet during your search that you think is right for you, contact the relevant shelter and make arrangements to meet your potential new family member. The experienced staff at the RSPCA can provide advice on the best type of pet for you and how to care for them.
