The Oxley Dog Training Club’s training philosophy is aligned to the training methods approved and adopted by Dogs NSW. These methods are based on positive and motivational techniques in a social environment. The positive and motivational methods have been proven to be successful when used by a variety of handlers on a variety of breed types.

We have instructors that have experienced dog training in numerous disciplines. To become qualified, our instructors have successfully completed theory and practical elements of an approved study program and have also completed an internship within a club atmosphere.

Our mission is to work in a dynamic relationship with our members to create simple effective methods in a friendly, positive club environment.

To promote training (obedience, rally and scent work) and trialing at all levels, canine social awareness and socially responsible owners aware of their obligations in the community.

We respect and appreciate all members and there canine companions and work towards our common goal to build a strong, respected community based organisation of which we may be proud.

We are affiliated with Dogs NSW and this year, we celebrate 54 years of training.
