Professional grooming is an important part of a dog’s overall health and wellbeing. Not just to improve the physical appearance of your Fur baby but to also keep their coat and skin healthy. Grooming also helps prevent skin irritations and uncomfortable matting that can pull and hurt. We have experience with most breeds and cater for dogs of all ages, taking extra care of anxious and elderly dogs. We take our time to build trust with your fur babies and love them like they are our own! This is also important for puppies- their first grooming experiences set the stage for the future and make all the difference to how they handle grooming long term. Patience and care are of the utmost importance. Leah has over 15 years experience and will treat you furry family member with care and love. We use a wide range of products and shampoo’s to make sure we have the right product for every coat and skin condition. Anxious Dogs If your dog is extremely anxious or not good with other dogs please ask us about our quiet time appointments. We will provide a quiet environment with few or no other dogs on site to make it as stress free as possible. Severely matted coats In the event that your dog has a severely matted coat it will most likely require a complete shave. We will always discuss your options in person but your dogs comfort is our number one priority. You may be charged an extra fee as we must take our time and be extra careful as the matted fur can pull the skin into the clippers sometimes causing skin irritation and/or cuts. Every effort is made to avoid this but it can occur. The best way to avoid this is regular scheduled grooming. We don’t cage dry. We don’t use any form sedation but can provide herbal calming drops if needed. They are best administered at home before your appointment. We can offer a pick up and drop of service if required for an extra fee. We can also provide all day doggy daycare for grooming customers only for busy Fur mums and dads.
