Nestled between the beach and tropical rainforest, FBH Caravan Park has 52 shady powered Caravan sites and unpowered campsites for up to 200 campers. Watch the sunrise over the Coral Sea and Palm Islands, or go fishing on the 14km of sandy beach, just metres from your caravan. The park has a fully equipped Amenities block, with hot showers, toilets and a coin operated laundry. Unlike most Caravan Parks, there is also a fully licenced Hotel, with Bottleshop, Poker Machines and a beachfront Bar and Bistro, to keep guests entertained.
Just a few metres from our hotel, dining, and campgrounds, the white sands of Forrest Beach stretch, uninterrupted for miles in each direction, boasting views directly out to Orpheus, and the Palm Islands. Take a long walk or a dip after lunch at our popular pub, or visit the shady beachfront park featuring a playground, barbecue, toilet, and shower facilities. Forrest Beach is the surfing beach for the town of Ingham and lies 20 km east of the town and the Bruce Highway, and contains a small holiday settlement, spread for 4 km along the 14 km long beach. The beach is patrolled and has a stinger net installed for safe swimming during the summer months. A boat ramp on the beach gives access to the nearby Great Barrier Reef and islands of the Hinchinbrook region.
