Founded by Suzanne Luce, For Pets Sake was born from a desire to offer the Angaston community a pet shop that combines quality products at fair prices with expert advice from experienced veterinary nurses. Already owning The Vet Clinic in Angaston, Suzanne envisioned a seamless integration of the two businesses, creating a comprehensive, one-stop shop for all pet needs.

Since opening its doors on February 23, 2013, directly across from its sister business, The Vet Clinic, For Pets Sake has grown from a small shop to a thriving business occupying a spacious four-room house. Suzanne’s dream came full circle three years later when The Vet Clinic relocated to a custom-built facility right behind For Pets Sake, making it even easier for customers to access all the services they need in one convenient location.

For Pets Sake is proud to support pet adoption rather than selling pets, encouraging customers to adopt from local rescue centres. In line with this commitment, the store launched its own cat and kitten adoption centre in 2015, helping countless strays and orphans find loving homes.
