Mike started APF in inner city Sydney in 2001as a delivery only service (no shop front) in the inner city and eastern suburbs there was a demand for the BARF style of feeding for both dogs and cats. He was and of course still is a passionate believer in bones and raw food, or in other words feeding your dog the way nature intended.

Mike wanted a country style of life so moved to Berry and then returned to Sydney weekly to deliver the frozen food door to door. It then changed to a fortnightly trip to Sydney and eventually no Sydney trips as it was getting harder and harder to leave Berry. Mike then just concentrated on the Nowra/Berry area and opened a shop in McIntyre Way Bomaderry and sold from that address until April 2010 when he then moved to Meroo Road to hopefully pick up a little passing trade.

During the time in McIntyre Way he noted a growth in the number of dogs who seemed to develop food allergies so is now stocking a wide variety of fresh and frozen food that is preservative free. He also now stocks a variety of dry food with no grains (only protein), limiting allergies.
