Our Story
June 2009, is the month when we first opened our doors and is the culmination of over 30 years pet shop know-how providing expert advice and superior customer service to Australian pet owners. We are an Australian based online pet store backed by the addition of 11 physical store locations in some of Australia’s largest capital cities. We have 8 convenient pet stores across Melbourne, another 3 further stores in Brisbane (Stafford, Fortitude Valley & Windsor).

What About Actual Pets?
We get that a lot. Although we receive countless enquiries about pets, we do not actually sell pets. Never have, never will. No matter how great a pet shop is, they are not geared up to adequately take care of dogs and cats until they go to their forever home. We believe and support pet adoption through registered breeders and animal shelters. This is a much better approach to finding your new family member. Taking care of an animal is a big commitment and if we had pets in our store we’d have no time left over to look after you, our customers! My Pet Warehouse regularly supports animal related charities and organisations through direct donations or other fundraising initiatives.
